At the end of today, the 9/11, I always remember that I used to walk through the World Trade Center every time I went to New York. I once stayed at Marriotts (I believe) that was in the building. I knew shops at underground level and I went up to the top twice. I saw the construction of the towers in 1968. I knew the steel used was from Japan and one of the designers was Japanese. I did not really believe that they were gone until I saw the Ground Zero few years ago. New York is indeed resilient and so is the nation despite of rhetoric by a certain candidate who promises falsehood and un-American values. It is a shame if those people who died there cannot bring about the true nature of American spirit that can proudly show to the world that we are one, united in pursuit of happiness and freedom. Namaste.
